At Fundo El Volcán, we live each day knowing we are part of something greater than ourselves. Biodiversity is not just a concept — it is the life that beats in every corner of our land. It is the song of the birds, the silent strength of native forests, the nobility of our animals, and the balance that sustains everything we do.

Our purpose is clear: to care for and protect this ecosystem so it remains alive and in balance. Every action we take — from managing eucalyptus to reforesting with native species — stems from the belief that the future depends on how we preserve the present.
Biodiversity is the heart of this Fundo. It is both our calling and our responsibility — to pass on a living, healthy, and diverse legacy to those who come after us. Here, producing with respect means coexisting with nature and working so that every tree, every species, and every landscape continues to thrive in harmony.

Site Characteristics
Unique ecosystems thrive on our land, home to endemic flora and local fauna. In the higher areas, species grow that cannot be found anywhere else. We feel a deep responsibility to care for and protect this environment.

The Heart of Our Fundo
At the heart of Fundo El Volcán lies a native forest that remains untouched — an ecosystem preserving the essence of southern Chile in its purest form. This land, kept free from productive intervention, represents our deepest commitment: to protect what gives us origin and meaning.
Here, unique species of local flora and fauna coexist, some of them endemic and at risk of disappearing. Every tree, every sound, and every natural cycle are part of a balance we have chosen to preserve. Keeping this virgin forest intact is not an economic decision but an ethical one — we understand that its value goes beyond productivity and becomes a living heritage for future generations.
This space is the soul of the Fundo. From its silence and vitality comes our inspiration to produce with respect, restore what has been damaged, and show that development and conservation can coexist in harmony.

Certifications / Partnerships
We are building partnerships with universities and specialists so that biologists and experts can study and protect what exists here. We also want the Fundo to be a space for research and learning.

Let’s Collaborate with Nature
At Fundo El Volcán, we believe in the joint work between science, management, and the land. If you are a researcher, naturalist, environmental professional, or student seeking field experience, we invite you to be part of our project.
Let’s talk about how we can collaborate on studies, conservation, sustainable management, or initiatives that contribute to the understanding and preservation of our ecosystems.
